Motorcycling Activity Holidays

Come and ride some of the best routes in the Alps, and stay in 5 star accommodation.

For the summer we are offering our chalet on a bed and breakfast basis, allowing total flexibility. We can tailor this holiday to suit your group.

The day starts with a full breakfast, fresh bread, croissants, yogurts, and all the cereals, jams, cheese and ham, to get you off to a good start. As always a cooked option is available.

On day one, having travelled down to the Alps, feel free to relax, or you may want to choose an easy route over the local passes. These offer stunning views of the mountains and lake Leman (lake Geneva). The routes will be listed for you with approximate mileages, making life a little easier.

Routes into Italy, the Grand St Bernard pass the Petite St Bernard and large sections of the Routes des Alpes can be ridden.
Brilliant roads, fantastic hairpins, and views that you will always remember.

Travel the waters edge around lake Leman to the famous water town of Evian, or watch the locals engaged in perch fishing in Thonon. You could take one of the paddleboats for a tour around the lake. Most of the larger towns have ferry stops, but you may like to visit the medieval village of Yvoire,. full of local history and culture Catching a steamer there is a nice alternative.
Montreux is only one hour away. Time it right, and you could visit the music festival.

Your host is a biker, and will be happy to lead you around some of the routes if you prefer.
The choice is all yours; using the latest satellite technology we don't waste time on un-planned detours.
Apart from the first and last 5miles or so, it's possible to ride a different route every day from Chatel.

White water rafting

During your stay with us we have a vast choice of other adventure activities.
We recommend trying the white water rafting. The Chalet has its own mini bus available to take you down to the start point. It really does make a great morning,

The Fantasticabe

This is a cable attached each end to the mountain, stretching over the valley at a height of 250 m. You are attached in a specially designed harness and are carried by a small frame with wheels running on the cable. The first cable is 1323m long, and you travel free fall between 80 and 100 km per hour across the valley. If that's not enough for you then the second cable is 1828m long.

This just has to be done!! As they say it's Fantastic!!!

Mountain Biking

All the equipment is available to rent at our local supplier. All the thrills of biking down a mountain on dirt roads. Guides are available if required.

Paragliding

This is also available, making silent flights across the mountains. You can do this attached to the instructor as a tandem assuring maximum safety at all times.

Discovery the two-seater parapente. This activity is open to all over 7 years old.
